A seated man in an orange saffron robe sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a golden canopy, his hands resting in his lap. Two attendants in brown-orange robes stand at the sides; the one on the left raises a small lamp, and the one on the right holds a lit torch aloft. Gold deity statues flank the throne, including figures playing a veena and a stringed instrument, and a standing deity on the left. Small brass and gold vessels with yellow flowers sit on the steps below. A figure in the foreground is partially visible. The setting suggests an aarti-style ritual on stage.2006-08-22Indoor photo of a stage with dark maroon curtains and decorative hanging banners. On a raised dais, a seated figure in orange robes sits on an ornate golden throne with a red cushion and a small gold canopy above. Around the stage stand several gilded deity murti statues, including dancing and seated forms, and a brass kalasha-like vessel on a table. Standing figures in orange garments are on the dais and stage left, and a standing person in orange stands on the right beside an electric fan. Seated people in orange robes fill the foreground, facing the stage, with their backs to the camera.2006-08-22November 17 20172017-11-17November 20 20092009-11-20August 22 20062006-08-22
