Night photograph of an outdoor public darshan stage in Tamil Nadu, lit by a bright floodlight. A decorated canopy with multicoloured streamers and a circular rainbow-striped medallion covers a raised platform, flanked by tall palms and fairy lights. Two men in white shirts and white dhotis stand on the stage. Large banners on the canopy show portraits and a Tamil heading reading Dhyana Satsang and Prapancha Shakthiyin Arputhangal, dated 19.11.2005. A dense crowd of men and women in white, cream, pink and yellow clothing faces the stage, some with palms joined in prayer. A few portraits on the banner are labelled in Tamil script, but no one on stage is clearly identified by appearance, so the swamiji candidate is uncertain.
