A large outdoor crowd gathers on a dry, sandy ground for the last rites of the bull Nandi at the ashram. In the centre, a bare-chested man in a long yellow-orange cloth stands near the middle of the open space, with other priests in white dhotis and bare upper bodies around him. Many devotees in saffron, orange, red and pink saris and robes stand in rows, some with hands folded or raised in prayer, and some clapping. Behind them a yellow JCB excavator and an orange shipping container sit beside a red brick wall and green trees. Speakers are at the left edge.
