A photograph of a ritual scene at night with green mats on the ground. In the foreground, a figure in saffron-orange robes with a red-and-gold band on the sleeve holds a brass pot. A young boy in a white shirt and white shorts, with a red headband and a red cloth draped over his shoulder and a small white bag, stands beside them and looks down at the pot. Behind him, several men in white dhotis and white kurtas with red shawls stand in a row, one holding a green plastic water bottle. The setting appears to be an outdoor gathering with string lights in the background.

A photograph of a ritual at a deity shrine at night. A standing priest in saffron-orange robes with a yellow border, shaved head and gold bracelet, bends forward toward three seated boys in white dhotis. The boys sit on a low stone platform before a large deity murti with a yellow-and-orange sari draped over it; an oil lamp stands in front, with marigold petals scattered on the ground and a red cloth beside the platform. The boys wear white, one with a sacred thread and one with ash markings on the forehead, and they hold small items the priest is guiding. The priest's robes are the most dominant colour in the frame, and the scene suggests a puja at the shrine. Visible people: four.2011-10-05Outdoor photo of a woman in a white sari with a gold border and a rudraksha mala serving food from a stainless steel vessel to a young boy in white kurta and rudraksha mala. The boy holds out cupped hands and receives a yellow food portion with a small spoon. Behind them, figures in white dhotis and kurtas and orange-saffron robes stand nearby, with a red brick wall at the upper right. The scene suggests prasadam distribution at an ashram gathering.2006-10-06July 20 20152015-07-20 +1 copiesJuly 20 20152015-07-20 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial blessing in an open-air hall with bright sunlight. A long-haired figure in an orange-and-saffron shawl, with a red-orange rudraksha necklace and gold earrings, places a hand on the head of a young boy kneeling with his hands raised. The boy wears a red-and-white beaded necklace and a small pendant. Behind them, several men in white dhotis with gold borders stand with folded hands and bare upper bodies, one wearing a dark rudraksha mala. A yellow flower garland lies near the boy. A brass vessel sits at the lower left. The figure is an appearance-based probable candidate for a person performing the blessing, but the cues are partial, so the identity is uncertain.2016-01-02November 24 20152015-11-24March 06 20162016-03-06 +1 copiesMarch 06 20162016-03-06 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial moment at a person ashram event.
