A festival procession at a Hindu temple tower gateway under a clear blue sky. On a wooden chariot with a flower-decorated canopy, a deity murti is adorned with garlands, and two large green and pink umbrellas with fringed edges shade it. Priests in orange and white dhotis stand on the platform, one bare-chested priest in orange dhoti near the front, others in white. A man in a white shirt and green cloth stands beside the chariot. Dense crowds of devotees, many women in saris, surround the chariot. Scaffolding rises at the right.
