A large clay murti of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity, is displayed as the central focus of a festival altar. The murti has a vermilion-orange turban with gold trim, pink ears, and a white trunk with a red tilak on the forehead. It wears layered gold necklaces, a heart-shaped pendant, an orange silk dhoti with gold border, and a marigold and mixed flower garland draped over its shoulders. Its upper hands hold a golden trident and an axe-like weapon, while the lower hands show abhaya mudra and a golden modak. Behind it hang green and gold draped fabrics and a blue-and-white printed backdrop, with a timestamp reading 4 9 2008 in the lower right corner. No people are visible.
