A photograph of a house-visit padapuja inside a modern living room with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and a framed deity murti garlanded with white flowers. A person in a red-orange dress with a rudraksha mala and gold bangles sits on a sofa draped with a maroon cloth and white jasmine garlands, raising a hand in greeting and smiling. Two young men in saffron-orange robes stand beside them; one holds a small golden tray with offerings. A man in white clothes holds a camera at left, and a seated man in glasses and a grey shirt with a garland, along with a woman and a child in the foreground, face the sofa. Appearance-based cues on the seated figure (long swept hair, rudraksha mala, ornate gold bangles, ceremonial dress) are consistent with a person presence, though not conclusive.

A seated figure in saffron-red robes, rudraksha beads, gold armlets and jasmine garlands receives offerings while holding a hand out toward a wooden tray of fruit. The seated figure has long swept-back hair, a crown-like style is not clearly visible, and the appearance is a person, but the identity is uncertain from appearance alone. Nearby, a woman in a purple sari leans forward over a brass plate, a young saffron-clad attendant kneels beside the tray, and a man in an orange kurta stands at the front holding offerings. Several devotees in white and floral clothing stand behind, and a small flower-decorated computer monitor sits on the right.2014-07-07A indoor photo of a seated woman in a red-brown sari with a yellow-and-red garland of marigolds and roses, hands folded in namaste, while a plate of flowers is offered at her feet. Behind her, a standing priest in white dhoti holds a long ceremonial staff and bell, and attendants in saffron and orange cloth stand or kneel with hands in prayer. A man in orange robes and white shawl sits at left with palms pressed together, and a woman in red sits at bottom left. A framed picture hangs on the wall, with a rug on the floor.2014-07-08July 08 20142014-07-08A seated central figure wearing a maroon garment with a gold border, multiple rudraksha malas, bangles and white jasmine garlands sits on a bed covered with orange cloth and scattered pink and white flower petals, holding fruit and yellow flower offerings. Beside them a wooden tray holds fruit, sweets and small containers. Standing to the left are two men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas, one with a white forehead mark, and an older man in white dhoti. A young man in white and a shaved-headed priest with white tripundra marks kneel at right, and a woman in white with jasmine in her hair sits at lower left. The setting is a plain room with a wooden-slatted window and wooden furniture. The central figure's appearance is ambiguous, so the identity is unsure; the scene reads as a padapuja-style devotee offering.2014-07-01A padapuja ritual at a home in Tamil Nadu. A central figure sits on a dark maroon cloth wearing a deep red-brown turban, a maroon robe, and long white and red flower garlands, with gold bangles on the wrist. She holds her hand over an offering tray holding fruit and a red item. Behind her, saffron-robed attendants wear rudraksha malas, and a bare-chested young man wears a white dhoti and garland. An elderly woman in white with a flower garland bows at the lower left, and a man in white reaches forward at the left edge. A framed portrait with garlands hangs on the wall, and a photographer with a camera stands behind the group.2014-07-03July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copies
