The murtis are dressed in red and gold silks and draped with yellow, white and red marigold garlands, and a brass kalasha and oil lamps stand on the stone platform. A second man in white dhoti and shawl sits cross-legged at left with hands folded, a microphone before him. Brass lamps, a red cloth on the floor, orange curtains and greenery frame the scene outdoors. The priest's bare upper body is adorned with a rudraksha-type mala. This appears to be a temple puja or abhishekam ritual.2010-11-12A photograph of a temple shrine during worship. A large deity murti in a golden arched niche is draped with marigold garlands and red and orange flowers, and it sits on a white and red decorated pedestal. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand at the granite platform in front, one holding a lamp toward the deity and another tending offerings on silver trays with flowers. A man in a yellow shawl and white clothes stands at left beside a fellow in orange holding a long staff. Red curtains frame the open pavilion, and white plants and flowers decorate its edges. The scene looks like a puja or aarti in progress.2008-12-26 +1 copiesDecember 28 20082008-12-28December 28 20082008-12-28November 29 20112011-11-29 +1 copiesMay 03 20122012-05-03A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, wearing a beaded necklace, performs a ritual at a golden palanquin-style stand holding three bronze deity murtis draped in orange cloth. He holds a long ceremonial cloth or offering vessel over the central murti. Behind, a large deity figure in yellow and blue garments with a garland is seen in a temple shrine, and a woman in white stands at left near a pillar with a red-and-orange curtain. Stone temple walls carry carved floral motifs. The priest's appearance does not clearly match the page's claim, so he is described by role only.2011-10-07November 12 20102010-11-12
