A festival procession seen from a rocky rise. In the foreground a man in white kurta with an orange shawl raises a video camera overhead, and beside him another man in white with an orange scarf gestures toward the crowd. A large crowd of people in white clothes moves along a dusty road lined with orange flags on poles and multicoloured umbrellas. Balloons in green, blue, white and yellow are tied to the procession, and strings of small lights run above the crowd. Among the people, a few wear orange garments. Sheds and a striped banner line the background under a bright sky.

Several large ornate parasols in red, yellow and green with bird emblems and tasselled edges are carried above a crowd. Under the central parasol, a man in an orange-saffron garment with a garland stands near a figure wearing a red-and-gold cloth; a deity murti is not clearly identifiable. Around them, many people in white kurtas and dhotis, some in cream or orange, hold up palms or walk with a red flag in the background.
