A photograph of a ritual abhishekam on a large black lingam set on a raised platform with a metal railing staircase. A bare-chested man in white dhoti and a dark rudraksha mala pours liquid from a brass kalasha over the lingam, which is decorated with a garland of yellow, red and green flowers. Beside him a shaved-headed priest in orange dhoti and a rudraksha mala holds a brass vessel, and another man in white stands at the left edge of the platform. The sky is pale and overcast.

A bare-chested man in white dhoti and rudraksha mala stands on the lingam, reaching down to adjust the garland, while a metal staircase and platform behind hold several priests in saffron robes and white dhotis, some bare-chested with sacred markings. Their work suggests a rudrabhishekam or puja at the lingam, with a stepped platform and a pale sky above.2017-07-03September 26 20162016-09-26September 26 20162016-09-26 +1 copiesOctober 31 20162016-10-31October 10 20162016-10-10July 31 20172017-07-31 +1 copiesOctober 10 20162016-10-10November 26 20162016-11-26 +1 copies
