Outdoor procession scene on a dusty, unpaved road beside a dirt embankment under bright sunlight. A man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate silver-and-blue carved palanquin-style seat beneath a colourful fringed canopy. He wears a cream-and-orange turban, a red bindi, a white and red flower garland, and a ceremonial gold necklace, and holds a gold trident (trishul) in his right hand while smiling and gesturing with his left. Many colourful balloons in red, pink, blue, yellow and green float around the seat. Several people in white and orange clothing, including women, crowd the lower right and left edges, smiling and looking up at him. The appearance cues are consistent with a person, but the presence of several distinctive visible cues makes this identification plausible rather than certain.2008-12-29Outdoor procession scene on a dry dirt field under bright sun.
