Outdoor photograph of a large black Shiva lingam set on a raised square platform in the middle of a rectangular pool of still water at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. The lingam is draped with a thick band of marigold and multicoloured flower garlands in orange, yellow, white, purple and red. Tiered red and white seating and a stepped stage fill the background, with a crowd of people dressed in white seated on the left and a few people in red and orange clothes visible on the right. Green leaves and bunting decorate the railings and a red-roofed building with white-framed windows stands at the rear under a pale sky.
