Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style vessel, bowls, a plate of fruit and other puja items sit on a mat in front. The man on the left, shaved-headed and in orange, faces the murti from behind; the figure in the centre wears orange garments and a rudraksha mala with hair tied up. A third man at right wears white dhoti-style clothing and a rudraksha mala, standing by the wall. The scene shows a puja or padapuja at a small shrine.2012-01-03A photograph inside a small whitewashed room with a brown wooden door and barred windows. At center, a deity murti or lingam-type form is draped with garlands of red, white and yellow flowers and sits on an orange-draped pedestal. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style pot, a plate of fruit and small brass vessels are arranged on a cloth before it. On the left, a bald man in orange clothing with a bead mala stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. On the right, a man with long dark hair tied up, wearing an orange shawl with white border and a rudraksha mala, extends one hand toward the shrine in an offering gesture. Behind him, a man in white dhoti and shawl stands near the wall, and another man in white is partly visible at the right edge.2012-01-03A photograph inside a plain white room with a tiled floor, a barred window and a wooden door. A man with long dark hair and a flower-garland of white and red blossoms stands in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, holding a lit lamp in a brass aarti plate, performing an aarti before a seated deity murti dressed in an orange cloth with a blue turban, yellow and red flower garlands and a white garland. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-like vessel, flower offerings and a small puja arrangement sit on a cloth on the floor. Around them stand several people with palms pressed together in namaste: a man in white shirt and dhoti, a woman in pink, a boy in a checked shirt, and men in saffron robes and rudraksha malas. The lamp-lighting and devotional posture suggest a puja. Probable Swamiji (probable) is the garlanded man performing the aarti, identified by long hair, saffron clothing, garland and rudraksha-style adornments.2012-01-02A photograph inside a small room with pale blue walls and a red-framed window. A man in an orange turban, orange shawl and a dark rudraksha mala smiles while holding a brass oil lamp (aarti) lit with flame, with yellow and white flower garlands at its base near a small deity murti on a shelf. Behind him a man in white clothes holds a tray, and on the right two men in white and orange stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. The scene suggests a puja or aarti inside a newly built room. The man in orange is an appearance-based a person candidate, but the page does not place a person at this event, so the identification is uncertain.2010-02-18January 06 20122012-01-06July 01 20142014-07-01A photograph of a puja being performed in a small room with pale blue walls and a tiled floor. Around the tray are bananas, coconut-like sweets, a decorated kalasha-style cake, and a small figure with long dark hair and a garland of flowers. Several people in saffron and orange robes stand close, one wearing an orange turban, while others in white shirts and yellow shawls watch. Strings of marigold garlands and blue drapes decorate the walls, and a mirror reflects the scene.2010-02-18
