A bald man in a light blue kurta kneels with hands folded toward him, while a woman in a purple sari kneels at left. A woman in a purple and gold striped sari prostrates on a colourful woven rug in the foreground. Behind them stand a large deity murti with silver ornaments and a red curtain backdrop, and gold and yellow cushions lie on the floor.

The seated man wears an orange-brown turban, a rudraksha-style necklace of gold and a pink flower garland, and he is in orange-brown clothing; the presentation cues are a turban and ceremonial gold adornment, so this is a person candidate, seated and attentive. Beside a golden swing frame draped in yellow and pink flowers, a woman in a purple sari and a woman in a golden-bordered purple sari stand with folded hands, and a man in a white dhoti and orange-trimmed shawl stands with hands folded. Two more men in white dhotis stand at right. A pile of folded orange and gold cloths lies on a colourful woven mat beneath the swing.
