A photograph of a домашний ritual in a home interior with a patterned floor mat. Two men in white kurta and dhoti kneel at the centre; the man on the right holds his cupped palms over an oil lamp flame with a flicker of fire, while the man on the left, wearing a rudraksha mala, supports the gesture. To the far right, a young shaved-headed boy in saffron/orange robes with rudraksha beads sits with eyes closed. Behind them, several women and family members stand with palms pressed together: an older woman in a white and orange saree, a woman in a teal saree with gold bangles and a bindi, a man in a striped shirt, and a woman in a blue-and-white outfit holding a toddler. A small child in a blue top is also held nearby. A wall calendar, a television and a framed poster are visible in the background. No identifiable a person appearance is present.
