A line of people stands on a polished floor before a dark red curtain and a large orange banner reading Akhil Bharath Hindu Mahasabha, with a row of portrait faces and a Hindu swastika flag. In the centre, a woman in a dark brown and gold sari holds up a tall brass oil lamp with a flame, as at a lamp-lighting opening. Around her, several men wear saffron and orange robes and shawls, one holding a staff, another holding a microphone and raising his hands in greeting. On the far left a man wears a white kurta with an orange shawl and hands folded. Chairs with orange cushions sit behind the group.
