Close photograph of devotees seated in a row during an offering ritual. In the foreground a brass puja thali holds pink rose petals, white jasmine buds, a small brass spouted vessel, a decorated brass ladle and a white flower-decorated coconut or shell offering. Hands with gold bangles hold a folded maroon cloth above the tray. Beside it, other trays of pink petals and flowers stand along the row, and women in red and pink saris are blurred in the background. The foreground person wears a black-and-white patterned garment. Visible people are partially shown, mainly hands and arms, so the count is approximate.
