Outdoor demonstration at a sandy open ground with many shirtless young men and boys in orange and white loincloths performing Shivastambha pole acrobatics. Several performers leap or climb tall wooden poles above blue cushioned mats, one with long dark hair flying, another balancing on a pole top. Standing spectators in white dhotis with gold borders and a few onlookers in casual clothes watch from the sides. Trees, a red-roofed building and parked white vehicles lie behind. A colourful striped cloth covers the foreground. Roughly fifty or more people are visible.
