A photograph from a Shiva Deeksha initiation session. A man with long dark hair, a full beard, white ash marks on his forehead and a gold necklace, dressed in maroon and brown cloth with a gold armband, sits on a low seat and holds a brass tray with a lit candle and small offerings. Beside him a gold-framed picture shows a temple tower and a deity. A bald man in a pink shirt kneels in front, reaching toward the tray with cupped hands. Behind them, a man in an orange wrap with white marks on his arms and chest stands near a golden ornamental stand, and a person in white and gold dhoti stands at left. A golden staff with a bird finial and a red curtain are visible in the background.
