A photograph of a communal meal service inside an orange tent. Several women in pink, lavender and red-patterned salwar kameez and white head-cloths serve from steel thalis and bowls along a row of low wooden tables. Seated sannyasis in saffron-orange robes wear marigold garlands while eating. In the foreground on the right, a bearded man in saffron robes and a matching saffron turban sits with a marigold garland. Further right, a smiling figure in a saffron turban and orange robe with a marigold garland sits near a water bottle. The orange tent walls and a hanging orange canopy fill the background.

May 04 20162016-05-04A long open-sided tent with orange and white canopy shows rows of seated people at wooden tables being served a meal. Many are saffron-robed sannyasis, some with orange turbans, and several white-clad women with yellow-orange marigold garlands lean forward placing food on metal plates. Water bottles, paper sheets and steel thalis line the tables. A bearded man in a yellow-orange shawl and white kurta stands at right with hands together. Corrugated red metal barriers line the left side, with a woman in a purple sari visible at upper left. This appears to be an annadan (free food) service.2016-05-07April 21 20162016-04-21April 21 20162016-04-21April 21 20162016-04-21April 21 20162016-04-21April 21 20162016-04-21April 21 20162016-04-21May 06 20162016-05-06April 21 20162016-04-21Photograph of an outdoor annadan meal in a large orange-and-white tent. Rows of wooden benches hold seated saffron-robed sannyasis, some with shaved heads and marigold garlands. In the foreground, a bare-shouldered man with long dark hair, an orange turban and a marigold garland sits at the bench on the left, with a rudraksha-style cord at his neck; he is a person candidate by visible cues, though the appearance is partly obscured. Volunteers in white shirts, striped polo and light blue salwar kameez walk along the rows serving food onto steel trays. Orange tent cloth and corrugated metal fencing frame the scene, with a crowd of onlookers at the left edge.2016-05-07September 10 20152015-09-10
