A seated figure on an ornate gold throne in a dark-walled room is receiving padapuja from devotees. He wears an orange-and-gold turban with a jewelled ornament, a multi-strand floral garland of marigolds and white flowers, a bare chest with bangles, and an orange-brown wrap; his bare feet rest on a floral arrangement. Three devotees kneel or sit before him: a woman in an orange blouse holding a small bowl, an older woman in orange with palms joined, and a man in white with a rudraksha mala holding a bowl. Silver trays hold bowls of yellow liquid, rice, fruit and marigold petals. Hanging brass bells and a brass lamp stand behind the throne, and a camera on a tripod stands at left. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified by the turban, garland, bare chest, rudraksha mala and gold throne, with padapuja as the ritual shown.
