A man with long swept-back hair, wearing an orange-red shawl and a heavy ornate gold necklace of large beads and a red tilak on his forehead, holds a small silver dish and touches the head of a bowed devotee in a striped top. Around them, white-clad attendants and onlookers stand, and a second priest in white with a shaved head holds a silver tray with brass lamps on the right. A decorated red and gold backdrop hangs behind. Swamiji (probable): the robed man with long hair, orange shawl and gold bead necklace is performing the blessing, based on several distinctive appearance cues.2010-12-28October 23 20112011-10-23A photograph of a ritual blessing in a hall.
