A photograph taken beneath a large banyan tree with sprawling aerial roots and thick low branches, its trunks draped with red and white flower garlands. On the dirt ground, a woman in an orange sari sits on a low stone ledge holding a small child, while a young boy in a blue outfit stands nearby. A woman in a white sari and a woman in a red and grey salwar kameez stand on the right, and a man in a white kurta with a folded cloth on his head stands on the left beside another man in a blue shirt. Another woman in a white sari stands near the centre. Some people appear to be bending or gathering near the tree base, and a dark cloth lies in the lower left foreground. The scene suggests a devotional gathering at a sacred tree.

A photograph taken outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots and a dense green canopy. A barefoot man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl stands on a low stone platform, his right hand raised in a blessing gesture, his face partly turned. Scattered rose petals lie on the platform and ground, with a folded white cloth and a small red-and-brown object near the base. Three people stand in front of him with palms pressed together in namaste: a woman in a turquoise top and white skirt, a man in an orange shirt and white trousers with glasses, and a woman in a white sari on the right. A video camera on a tripod stands nearby on the red earth.

In the left foreground a line of devotees in orange and saffron garments, some in orange saris, walks along a dirt path, while a man in white dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala stands at the front. A monk in orange robes stands near a wooden post, and a few people in red and maroon clothes are nearby. On the right, a figure in orange sits under the tree near a seated woman in white and green, with a small deity shrine and metal railings beyond. Dirt ground, green shrubs, and cables are visible in the foreground.

A photograph of a large banyan tree with many thick aerial roots hanging and twisting down along the trunk. In the centre, a slender hanging root cluster rises from a ring of grey granite blocks on red-brown earth. To the right, a group of people in white and pastel clothing walk barefoot across the dusty ground under the shade. Foreground figures include a woman in a white top and white trousers at right, a woman in a mint-green kurta with an orange waist sash, and a woman in a white kurta with an orange dupatta. Dappled sunlight falls across the scene and the background shows more participants and green foliage.
