A large illuminated banner above shows a portrait of a seated figure wearing a gold necklace and ornate clothing, with a printed caption reading "Supreme Pontiff ... Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam". At right, a garlanded deity murti with marigold and jasmine garlands stands beside a golden lamp stand and a gold-topped staff. Crowds of people sit and stand along the lane. A man in white shirt and dhoti raises one arm toward the lamp stand, while others, including a boy in green, sit on the ground near the food.
