Photograph of a temple ritual inside a hall with hanging marigold garlands and yellow and orange festoons. A bearded man in a dark brown-red robe, black turban, large gold ceremonial necklace with black beads and a rudraksha mala raises a green leaf bundle in one hand, with a silver trident beside him. Beside him, a younger man with long braided hair and a leopard-print headband, wearing orange cloth, a rudraksha mala and hands folded in prayer, stands in front of white-clad attendants. On the right, a tray of offerings covered in red and gold cloth is held by a helper. Several other people in orange, cream and blue garments are visible in the background.

In the foreground on the right, a bearded man with long dreadlocked hair wears a rust-brown robe, a heavy gold and black-bead necklace with a gold pendant, and a red tilak on his forehead, holding his hands together in anjali. Beside him on the left, a man in an orange wrap and layered red and white rudraksha-style necklaces presses his palms together. Behind them, sannyasi-clad attendants with long hair and a woman in a purple sari stand among ceremonial silver staffs and trident-topped poles, with a yellow canopy, colourful kalasha-style banners and hanging yellow garlands above. The scene reads as a temple ritual procession. The man in the centre has distinctive long dreadlocks, a heavy ceremonial gold necklace and rust-brown robes, so he is a person candidate.2018-04-14October 10 20172017-10-10 +1 copiesSeptember 10 20172017-09-10 +1 copiesSeptember 17 20172017-09-17 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple procession from behind and side angles, showing several bare-chested men with long dark hair wound into tall topknots or braided coils. The central figure wears a red-and-white flower garland across his chest, gold bangles on his wrist, and a red cloth at his waist, and holds his arm out while a man beside him carries a green plant in a decorated pot. A man at right wears a saffron-yellow and white shawl with a rudraksha bead necklace. Background figures in ordinary clothes watch from a temple courtyard with a tiled roof. The shawl and bead cues are not enough to establish a person's presence, so the identity is unsure.2018-05-08April 14 20182018-04-14Close photograph of a ritual exchange in a temple setting. On the left, a bare-chested man with a long braided hairstyle and a crown-like turban, wearing a rudraksha mala, ceremonial gold-bead necklace and a saffron-brown shawl, pours water or holds a leafy green bunch over a decorated kalasha pot. On the right, a man in a purple turban with orange tassels and a pink-and-gold silk garment, with a beaded white necklace, leans in to receive the blessing. The kalasha is wrapped in a red and gold cloth and decorated with blue and white stones. A blurred figure appears between them, and saffron-clad devotees stand in the background beneath yellow and red hangings.2018-04-14October 01 20172017-10-01October 10 20172017-10-10 +1 copies
