The boat is draped with garlands of yellow, orange and white flowers and topped with a tiered flower-covered canopy. Seated under the canopy is a figure in an orange-and-saffron robe with a red-orange turban; the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity. Three men in white dhotis or orange cloths stand waist-deep in the water, pulling or steadying the boat with white garland ropes. Tiered stands along the tank are packed with seated and standing devotees in white and colourful clothes, and a metal staircase tower stands at right. This appears to be a water procession ritual.2016-12-14Night photograph of a illuminated floating deity procession on a large water tank at an ashram, with a decorated boat-like float covered in marigold garlands, string lights and a tiered canopy, carrying a small figure at its centre.
