Night photograph of a large black Shiva lingam with white-and-gold bands and a red-and-white flower garland draped around its upper curve. On a raised platform on top of the lingam, a figure in a dark robe with a golden garment stands between two smaller figures; they appear to be attending a ritual abhishekam or Rudrabhishekam. Behind, a multi-storey building is lit with blue, purple and green string lights, and a small orange and multicoloured fabric canopy sits at the lower left. Red flags stand along the edge. The lingam appears to be a deity murti rather than a live crowd, and the figures on top are statues or murtis.2016-12-08A night photograph of a large dark black stone Shivalingam on a raised platform, decorated with a garland of yellow and red flowers arching around its base and a silver yoni-style band with a central disc.
