A street procession in a busy Indian town. Two tractor-drawn floats decorated with red cloth, marigold garlands and red flags lead the way, with a red-draped float on the right carrying figures and flowers, and a yellow umbrella over a decorated seat. A uniformed police officer in khaki walks beside the right float. Pedestrians, a woman in a white sari and a woman with a blue umbrella line the road, and motorcycles are parked along shopfronts under a sky with scattered clouds. Shop signs include Mahadev and Agri-related advertisements.
