A dusk photograph of a dark, cloud-filled blue sky over a silhouetted hillside with scattered trees and a few distant lights. In the lower left, two people sit at an outdoor ledge: a young woman in an orange top with long dark hair, and an older woman with short grey hair and glasses wearing a white top. In the lower right corner, a partially visible deity murti decorated with white flowers and garlands is lit by a warm lamp.

In the foreground, a long-haired figure with dark curly hair, seen from behind, wears a flowing saffron-orange shawl over the shoulders and stands with arms folded. A crowd of devotees stands in the foreground, including a woman in a light blue sari, people in white shirts, a woman in red, and an older person in a yellow top at right. Surrounding them are men in white dhotis and white shirts, one with a red shawl and rudraksha-style beads, a woman in a yellow shawl at left, and a man with eyeglasses at right, all standing attentively. The scene resembles a ground-blessing ceremony.2008-04-01A dusk outdoor gathering of devotees seated on tiered stone steps lined with potted plants, facing left toward a large dark stone Nandi bull statue draped with a red and yellow flower garland. Many attendees sit with palms pressed together in anjali, some in white and red clothing, a woman in a blue sari at right. Strings of fairy lights run along metal poles above, and a video camera on a tripod is visible at upper right. The scene is a satsang or puja setting with people in prayerful posture before the Nandi statue. The photograph has no clearly identifiable central figure, so no candidate is marked as present.2013-11-06
