A construction site on red earth where workers lay concrete blocks in trenched foundation walls under a bright sky with palms and scrub behind a wire fence. In the foreground, a long-haired figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe stands beside a bright orange umbrella held by a man in white kurta and saffron shawl with a rudraksha mala. Other workers in lungis, saris and white shirts carry stones, sit in the trenches and stack blocks, with piles of sand and stone nearby. Whether the robed figure is a person is uncertain, as the cues are only a saffron robe and long hair, which are not distinctive enough to establish identity.

Several people in orange robes and white or light clothing work or walk among the mounds, one man in a striped top and checked lungi shovels soil, and a woman in a pale sari carries a bucket. In the right foreground stands a tall figure with long dark hair in an orange robe, wearing a long rudraksha mala and holding a wooden staff, with sandals on his feet; the cues are appearance-based and the figure's identity is uncertain, so he is described only by role as a sannyasi. A plastic bucket, wooden planks and a metal chair appear at the edges.2006-12-09Outdoor photo at a temple construction site.
