A figure in an orange saffron robe and an orange turban stands at right, holding a brass bell and a bowl with a flame, with a rudraksha mala around the neck; the appearance cues are distinctive but the figure's identity is uncertain, so this is a priest or sannyasi in orange. Around them about eight devotees in white ritual clothes and some in red and pink saris stand with hands folded, one holding a camera. Behind them are a lattice screen and framed photographs, one showing a seated figure in white.2004-07-02July 28 20082008-07-28Night photograph of a funeral rite inside a plain room with pale walls and barred windows.
