A photograph of a nighttime Hindu ritual under a white tent with a striped cloth floor. In the foreground, a man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a red-orange head wrap and a rudraksha mala holds a small lit flame in his right hand over a yellow-gold fire pit, where smoke rises. Garlands of white flowers, marigolds and green leaves lie on the floor near banana leaves, bowls and a lit oil lamp. Behind him another saffron-clad figure stands near a silver chair, and a deity murti with garlands stands beneath a lamp-lit shrine with golden lion statues flanking the platform.
