Night-time fire ritual outdoors on sandy ground: a homa fire burns in a brick-lined fire pit while men in white dhotis sit and stand around it. Several bare-chested men wear white dhotis and white shoulder cloths; one seated man in the foreground wears an orange headwrap and a red-orange cloth, and another man in orange cloth stands behind the altar. Offerings are arranged on the ground: fruit baskets wrapped in white and blue cloth, flower garlands, marigold and rose petals, and a rectangular floral-decorated altar with red petals and apples. Brass lamps and a bronze vessel sit beside the pit. Some men hold burning lamps or sticks, and a few boys stand among them.
