The base of the pole is wrapped in white jasmine garlands with red flowers, fronds of palm leaves and a yellow marigold. Tall coconut palms stand beside it. At right, a person in a dark garment decorated with white and red garlands pulls on ropes that guide the pole, one arm raised. No readable text is visible on the pole itself.
