Five flames burn on the lamp's arms, with wisps of smoke rising above. The hand wears a thin bracelet at the wrist. A bright blurred light appears at the top of the frame. No faces are visible, and no clearly identifiable person is shown, so a person is unsure. Only the hand and lamp are visible, and the lamp is an oil lamp rather than a fire pit.2016-12-07July 19 20162016-07-19August 16 20172017-08-16 +1 copiesAugust 16 20172017-08-16 +1 copiesA photograph of an ornate brass multi-branched oil lamp (aarti lamp) with several lit flames, held up by a single hand at the bottom edge against a deep red curtain. A blurred warm background of orange, red and yellow tones surrounds it, and a sliver of a person's arm in a dark sleeve with a red thread appears at the lower left edge. No people's faces are visible. The lamp is a ritual oil lamp; the page does not establish a specific rite, so none is named.2017-08-09July 27 20172017-07-27 +1 copies
