A photograph of a healers' initiation or blessing moment. A figure in saffron-orange clothing with a gold-edged shawl and a beaded rudraksha-style mala places a hand on the head of a young man in a white t-shirt with a red-and-orange ceremonial shawl and a red lanyard. The young man has his palms pressed together in namaste. Behind them a woman with long white hair in white clothing with a red shawl and a bindi stands with palms joined, another person in white and orange-red shawl holds incense sticks, and a few other people in white and red shawls stand near red curtains and a brass-tone decorative stand. A small electric fan is visible at right. The setting appears to be a stage or ritual hall.
