Photograph of several coconut kalashas arranged on a low platform draped in mustard-yellow cloth. Each coconut is topped with mango or betel leaves and wrapped in cloth: gold-brown, white with silver ornaments, blue with a green-and-white jewelled necklace, and green with a pearl-and-bead garland. Red roses are tucked among the coconuts, and brass vessels sit behind them. Blurred seated figures in white, turquoise and red clothing are visible at the top edge, with only hands and laps showing. The arrangement suggests puja offerings or a kalasha ritual.2014-01-19December 12 20162016-12-12Close view of a ritual arrangement on a colourful striped woven mat. A large silver kalasha wrapped in white cloth and hung with gold bells sits at centre, surrounded by smaller brass-rimmed coconut offerings on leaf-lined plates with rice, red flower petals, banana leaves and bananas. A lit oil lamp stands at left, with a fruit basket behind. An orange-draped object sits beside the central pot. No people are visible, so this shows puja offerings rather than a person.2015-09-15April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesApril 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesClose view of ceremonial kalasha pots on a gold-brocaded red cloth. Three brass-rimmed pots are wrapped in silk: one blue, one red with gold border and jewelled trim, and one gold with sequined trim. Each pot is topped with a coconut and green mango or betel leaves, with grass stalks standing beside them. No people are visible; a warm orange sari edge and gold fabric appear behind the pots.2014-01-05Close view of several brass kalasha pots topped with yellow-husked coconuts and mango leaves, dressed with white cloth and rudraksha-bead garlands with red and gold beaded necklaces. Behind them a red silk cloth and teal and green fabrics drape a figure on a grey draped table, with turmeric powder scattered on the surface. No people are visible; this appears to be a decorated ritual setup.2014-05-21Three decorated kalasha pots sit on a gold-striped cloth in an outdoor setting with greenery behind. Each pot has a conical top wrapped with dried straw and green leaves. The left pot is draped in red-orange cloth with beaded and jewelled embellishments, the centre pot in white cloth edged with a green and gold border with red-green stone and bead work, and the right pot in deep maroon cloth with gold pearl-like beading. No people are visible.2015-11-21Close-up photo of ritual offerings on a table draped with a purple cloth with gold embroidery. Several coconuts wrapped in white cloth stand with green mango or leaf sprigs and red hibiscus flowers. A polished silver kalasha-style vessel with engraved relief sits among them, with a bundle of grass or straw stems. Out-of-focus people stand in the background of what appears to be a gathering or ceremony.2013-12-09April 04 20182018-04-04January 11 20142014-01-11Close-up photograph of three decorated kalasha pots hanging from palm-leaf tassels, each embellished with jewelled and beaded garments in red, orange, white and gold.
