Most attendees wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers; several men wear rudraksha malas. Women in saris of pink, green, orange and blue sit among them. Many faces are turned toward the front, outside the frame. The gathering appears to be an outdoor programme with devotees sitting closely together on the ground and on chairs.2007-08-17July 27 20082008-07-27July 27 20082008-07-27July 28 20082008-07-28January 02 20162016-01-02 +1 copiesAugust 02 20092009-08-02July 28 20082008-07-28January 31 20162016-01-31Outdoor photograph of a large crowd gathered on sandy, freshly cleared ground at an open-air event, with palm trees and a thatched hut in the background. Most people wear white shirts and white dhotis or mundus, with some in coloured shirts and several women in saris and salwar kameez. Many stand close together, some with arms folded and some looking toward the stage area at left, which is covered with green cloth. Bamboo poles and a pink banner are visible above the crowd, and a few saffron-coloured clothes appear among the people.2006-11-13A large outdoor crowd of devotees sits closely packed on the ground, most dressed in white ceremonial clothing, with some women in saris of orange, yellow, purple and pink and several wearing red or striped head coverings. Tall green bamboo poles with leaves stand in the foreground, and strings of orange and blue decorative hanging lanterns and orange triangular pennants hang overhead beneath a banner. Many attendees face forward, attentive, as if listening to a discourse. No identifiable individual is clearly visible as a person in this crowd view.2007-01-01
