A young man with long dark hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange saffron wrap, stands with palms pressed together in namaskar beside a massive banyan tree whose many aerial roots and trunks fill the background. A round wooden plate or tray sits on the dusty ground in front, and a striped woven textile hangs at the right edge. The scene suggests a devotional or prayer moment at an outdoor sacred tree.
