A photograph of a crowded temple-style shrine interior behind green metal railings. In the centre, a woman in a white and gold-bordered sari stands with a raised hand near a flickering oil lamp on the floor. Nearby, a woman in a red and gold sari bends forward at left, and women in white and orange-saffron garments kneel and sit around the lamp, one wearing a white and pink flower garland. Devotees in white and orange shawls sit in the foreground, and a few men in white stand in the background. The scene suggests a puja or lamp offering in a devotional setting.
