Photograph of a temple puja in a home shrine room. A large deity murti of a goddess stands centrally, adorned with a silver crown, pink and green silk, multicolored flower garlands and a long pearl-like necklace, with a bright green and blue draped base. A bare-chested priest with a shaved-looking head, white dhoti and a face mask kneels at right, holding his hand over a brass oil lamp. Brass oil lamps with lit flames stand before the murti, a small brass kalasha with marigold garlands sits on a pink cloth, and a painted temple scene with multiple figures hangs on the right wall. A gold brocade backdrop and red curtains frame the shrine, and a small brass figure rests on a green-draped table at left.
