Outdoor mallakhamba (Shivasthamba Yoga) demonstration under a cloudy sky. A shirtless young man balances on one leg atop a vertical wooden pole, arms outstretched, wearing dark shorts. The pole rises beside a large gold-coloured ornate pedestal with carved scrollwork and a lattice panel. Two shirtless men with necklaces steady the base of the pole, and a crowd of spectators fills the foreground. A gold framework stands at left and right, and a gold-framed portrait of a man with a turban and orange garment sits at lower left, with a printed copyright line across the top right.
