Night photo of a large crowd seated on tiered red-brick steps at an outdoor ashram event, with many people with palms pressed together in namaskar or raising hands in devotion. Rows of black stone Shivalingams on round yoni-style bases sit on the steps in front of them, with small brass vessels beside some. Participants wear white, pastel saris, salwar and kurta, colourful dupattas, rudraksha malas and bindis. A bare-chested man in white dhoti sits near the centre with arms raised. Strings of coloured lights and floodlights glow overhead in the dark.
