A large hall with red curtains and white tiled floor where many monastic disciples in saffron-orange robes sit cross-legged in rows performing a ritual. Most have white and orange tilak stripes on their foreheads and arms, and several wear rudraksha malas. Each seated pair has brass plates, small kalasha pots, oil lamps and offerings laid on low silver-topped platforms covered with straw mats. Behind them a few onlookers in white and mixed clothing sit on red chairs. A bald devotee in front holds a small brass vessel. No figure is clearly identifiable as the a person.
