A man in saffron-orange dress with a gold-coloured wrap and a long gold necklace stands barefoot on a raised stone platform, head bowed, facing a shrine. On the right, a silver-framed arch surrounds a red cloth backdrop and a gold-coloured deity murti adorned with red and yellow garlands, seated on a gold base, with a bed of red flowers at its feet. Red and white patterned mats lie on the sandy ground. Trees and dappled foliage fill the background.2013-07-25March 10 20132013-03-10July 20 20132013-07-20February 28 20132013-02-28July 21 20132013-07-21February 01 20132013-02-01March 20 20132013-03-20July 02 20132013-07-02March 22 20132013-03-22January 01 20122012-01-01A man stands barefoot on a raised stone platform beside a large banyan tree with aerial roots, in an outdoor garden setting. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti with a yellow-gold border, a long gold-coloured bead necklace, gold armlets and a dot of tilak on his forehead. To the right, a shrine arch of white carved stone frames a dark deity murti seated on a pedestal, draped in green cloth and white garments, in front of a large mound of red offerings. Red and white ritual rangoli-style mats are laid on the ground, and a yellow patterned cloth lies on the path. The figure's appearance is ambiguous, so identity is uncertain.2013-08-15
