Nithyanandapedia
Outdoor photo of the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam temple pool at Bidadi. Rows of dark stone Shivalingams line tiered red-brick steps on both sides of a turquoise rectangular pool. In the water, a crowd of devotees stands waist-deep, bathing and performing abhishekam-style rites near a central raised platform topped with a black stone lingam and a decorated yellow-and-blue draped canopy. Men and women dressed in white stand along the upper terraces and railings, watching the ceremony. Red buildings and a grey sky frame the scene.

Tiered stone steps around the pool hold rows of black Shivalinga-shaped stone pieces. Several people in red robes sit on the steps and tend the lingas, while white-clad devotees sit on the tiered seating in the background. Red-roofed buildings and palm trees stand beyond, with bunting strung across the frame. Rows of grey stone lingams with circular yoni bases line the steps on both sides. Along the right and left stairways, groups of people in red and maroon robes and white dhotis sit or kneel, some holding long ceremonial objects, apparently performing ritual worship.
