A photograph of an outdoor distribution point at a festival site with sandy ground and trees behind. A woman in a maroon top and orange-gold sari stands behind an orange-draped counter, holding out a dark string or cord to a man in a striped collared shirt and white dhoti who reaches toward her with an open hand. A man in a checked shirt and others stand in line beside him, and a woman in red and gold at the left edge holds printed booklets. A blue tarpaulin, a tall metal pole and a white lattice tower stand in the background. The page excerpt mentions Karthikai Deepam, but no such event is legible in the image itself.
