A photograph taken beneath a large banyan tree with sprawling aerial roots and thick low branches, its trunks draped with red and white flower garlands. On the dirt ground, a woman in an orange sari sits on a low stone ledge holding a small child, while a young boy in a blue outfit stands nearby. A woman in a white sari and a woman in a red and grey salwar kameez stand on the right, and a man in a white kurta with a folded cloth on his head stands on the left beside another man in a blue shirt. Another woman in a white sari stands near the centre. Some people appear to be bending or gathering near the tree base, and a dark cloth lies in the lower left foreground. The scene suggests a devotional gathering at a sacred tree.

Outdoor photograph beneath a large, sprawling banyan tree with thick aerial roots and dense canopy. Many devotees, mostly women in saffron and orange saris and salwar, some in white and blue, crowd around the tree trunk and its lower branches on reddish-brown earth. A few people are climbing or standing on the branches, and others crouch or kneel near the base. A woman in a vivid red-orange sari stands in the foreground, and a figure in a yellow garment crouches at left. Small offering-like objects and a metal stand sit near the trunk. The scene suggests a tree-related ritual gathering.

On the left, a red-draped raised mound or pedestal with a statue of a seated figure in white and red clothing with a red head covering stands in a circular enclosure. Several people in white clothes walk along a dirt path. Two men in the foreground, one in a white shirt and cream trousers and one in a blue jacket and brown trousers, walk away from the camera. A woman in white stands near the right edge, and a few more people in white and casual clothes are scattered among the trees and buildings in the background.

Outdoor photo beneath a large, sprawling banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and thick horizontal limbs. A white circular platform surrounds the trunk. Several women in sarees gather around the tree: one in a red-and-black saree reaches toward the trunk, another in pink and orange, and others in pink, orange and blue saris stand nearby. A man in a white shirt sits on the platform edge, and men in light and dark shirts sit or stand at the lower left and background. A young boy in red stands near the white wall. The setting appears to be a temple-style courtyard with sunlight filtering through the leaves.
