Night street scene during a procession in a busy town. Devotees stand close together with palms pressed in anjali, faces turned upward as if receiving blessings. A woman in a green sari with a red bindi stands at center, a young woman in a yellow salwar holds a white plastic bag, and a girl in a pale top stands in front. On the left a man in white with a yellow shawl and a sandalwood or vibhuti mark on his forehead stands beside a rudraksha mala. Older men in white dhotis and shirts, some with red shawls and lanyards, fill the background, with red flags and a parked green truck behind them. Shop lights and signboards glow in the dusk.
