Outdoor cremation-site ritual under open sky beneath a striped pennant canopy. A group of men in white dhotis and shirts bend over a flower-covered bier decorated with white and yellow garlands. A man in an orange cloth with a saffron wrap bends forward at the front, while a standing figure on the right wears an orange garment and a beaded necklace, with long dark hair visible. Seated devotees in white fill the grass behind, and a small plastic bag lies on the ground at right.
